Last weekend i went to Chongming Island ( 崇明岛 ) with some of my co-workers .My company offered to pay for a part of the expenses, so it was a good opportunity to leave Shanghai for some days. We went to the Chongming Forest Tour Park and stayed there for a couple of hours, riding bicycles around the park.
Chongming Island is listed as the third largest island in China after Taiwan and Hainan. The island first emerged in 618 due to a change in the water level of the river.
